Ben-Gvir: From the promise of security to the delivery of chaos and disorder.
In a report against Itamar Ben-Gvir and his ineffective policies that, instead of providing and increasing security, have led to a decrease in security in the occupied territories, Ern Kamin, the former head of the police investigation department, wrote:
If we were to judge him based on the information about the developments and events that occurred under Ben-Gvir, it is widely considered that Itamar Ben-Gvir is the most failed minister in Israeli history.
In the recent elections, he entered Netanyahu’s one-party, right-wing cabinet with his promises of a glorious and passionate Jewish state, promises to reduce crime rates, and improve police accountability and public trust.
Ern Kamin continued: As we know, statistics do not lie; the Minister of National Security, along with the police chief he appointed, are leading in all negative indicators thanks to their unwavering determination to suppress protesters, especially leftists. None of them have any ideas or solutions to deal with the rampant violence.
Nearly a hundred people have been murdered since the beginning of the year, financial and violent crimes, accidents and road fatalities have hit new records; but the minister and the police chief have no solution or plan for how to get out of this crisis and restore public trust in the police.
