PNN – Zionist media reported the possibility of the extremist Zionist minister Itamar Ben-Gwer resigning if an agreement is reached with Hamas regarding Gaza.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, the Israeli Radio and Television Organization predicted that if an agreement is signed with the Hamas movement regarding Gaza, Itamar Ben-Gwer, the Israeli Minister of Internal Security, will likely resign from the regime’s current coalition cabinet.

The organization explained that behind the scenes of the ongoing negotiations with Hamas in Qatar, there is a crisis in the ruling coalition in the Israeli regime.

The organization further said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity in Gaza, will hold a special meeting, the date of which has not yet been determined, with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to prevent the collapse of the ruling coalition in Tel Aviv.

On the other hand, Israel’s Channel 14 reported, citing sources close to Netanyahu, that Smotrich may not leave the government if the agreement is implemented.

Doha, the capital of Qatar, is currently witnessing a new round of indirect negotiations between Hamas and the Israeli regime, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, and with the participation of the United States, with the aim of reaching a new ceasefire agreement and prisoner exchange.

Over the course of about 20 months, several rounds of indirect negotiations have been held between the Israeli regime and Hamas regarding a ceasefire and prisoner exchange, mediated by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States.
