Benny Gantz: Political goals have prolonged the war in Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, Benny Gantz, the leader of the National Camp party and a former member of the Zionist regime’s war cabinet, said in a speech that what has been done over the past 600 days should have been completed within 6 months and that the continuation of the war in Gaza is due to political goals.
Emphasizing the need to release the remaining prisoners in Gaza, he announced that Benjamin Netanyahu must prioritize the release of prisoners over everything else, even if this leads to a delay in the continuation of the military operation.
Gantz also claimed that the regime’s army has been able to defeat Hamas and that this movement is no longer capable of carrying out large-scale attacks like on October 7! This claim is made while the Palestinian Islamic resistance fighters are still suffering heavy casualties from the Zionists in the Gaza Strip.
Since the beginning of the Gaza war, more than 54,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 123,000 have been injured. For about three months, the regime has closed all humanitarian aid crossings into the Gaza Strip, exposing the Strip to serious risks of famine and death from starvation.
The regime’s crimes have been so severe that, in a rare incident, they have forced the regime’s European allies, such as France and Britain, to react.
Europe and the United States continue to witness demonstrations and popular marches against the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and in support of the Palestinian people, and the demonstrators are demanding that Western governments stop supporting the Zionist regime.
Also, in the occupied territories, many Zionists and leaders of the regime believe that “Benjamin Netanyahu”, the Prime Minister of the regime, is refusing to agree to a ceasefire and prisoner exchange with Hamas for his political purposes and interests.
