Reuters also wrote in a report that Biden said: I don’t negotiate in public when asked by reporters whether he told Israel not to attack Iran’s oil facilities.
Also, in response to another question about whether he is worried about an increase in oil prices following a possible Israeli attack on Iran’s oil facilities, he said: If a storm occurs, oil prices will rise. I don’t know; what does anyone know?

Al Jazeera also quoted an American official as saying that Israel “has not asked us for help at this time” and “we ask Israel to avoid an all-out regional war in response to Iran’s missile attack.”
