PNN – US President Joe Biden called for a cease-fire in Gaza before the holy month of Ramadan, and by throwing the ball of agreement for this cease-fire on Hamas’ land, he said that if a cease-fire is not established by the month of Ramadan, it will be “very dangerous”.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, US President Joe Biden emphasized on Tuesday local time while boarding the presidential plane known as Air Force One at Hagerstown Airport: We need a ceasefire.
He called the agreement on the table a “reasonable proposal” and said the Israelis had agreed to it. At the same time, Biden threw the ball in Hamas’s court and said: We have to see what Hamas does.
The US president claimed that the Israelis had cooperated and that a ceasefire was necessary.
Biden also said that without a ceasefire agreement by Ramadan, the situation in Israel, and specifically Jerusalem, would be “very, very dangerous.”
In response to a question about his relationship with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, the American President also said: “Our relationship is the same as always.”

Biden also emphasized that there is “no excuse” for Israel to oppose providing more aid to Gaza.
On Tuesday local time, the President of the United States also announced in a message on the X social network (former Twitter): “The United States is committed to doing everything possible to send more aid to those who need it most in Gaza. We will not sit idle. We will not give up.”
At the same time, the American NBC News television channel reported, citing current and former officials of the country, that Biden is seeking to increase political pressure on the Israeli government to allow more humanitarian aid to enter and to reduce its attacks in Gaza.
NBC News, quoting two informed officials of the US government, announced: Frustrated by the plight of Palestinian civilians and seeing no reduction in Israeli military operations, the White House National Security Council has asked the Pentagon in recent weeks to provide possible options for sending more aid to Gaza by air, land and sea.
The United States still does not exert significant pressure on Israel, and the Biden administration has not yet considered options such as sanctions on Israel or making billions of dollars in military aid to Israel conditional.
On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, on November 24, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established between Israel and Hamas, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel.
This pause in the war continued for 7 days and finally, on December 1, 2023, the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks against Gaza. In order to retaliate for the surprise attacks of the “Al-Aqsa storm” and to compensate for its failure and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed all the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.
