Biden: Our attacks will not stop the Yemenis, but they will continue.
Despite acknowledging the ineffectiveness of the country’s attacks against the Yemenis, the American president stated that these attacks will continue.
Despite admitting that his country’s attacks against Yemen’s Ansarullah were ineffective, US President Joe Biden said on Thursday that these attacks will continue.
A reporter asked Biden: “Are the strikes against the Houthis in Yemen effective?”
The US president responded: “When you say they are effective [the question arises] are they stopping the Houthis?” No! But will they continue? Yes.”
America and England carried out their fourth round of attacks against Ansarullah’s positions in Yemen. Several cities and different regions of Yemen were attacked by warships of the American and British navies.
“Al-Masira” network reported the details of this operation that the American-British attacks started from Hodeidah and Dhammar provinces and then spread to Saada, Taiz and Al-Bayda provinces.
Before that, Brigadier Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, said that the country’s navy attacked an American ship in the Gulf of Aden with several missiles and accurately hit it.
These attacks started last week. On the first day of the attack, which took place early last Friday, the United States claimed to have targeted training sites, air bases, and drone maintenance facilities belonging to Yemen’s Ansarullah.
Immediately after that attack, Yemen’s Ansarullah forces announced that they were firing ballistic missiles at enemy positions in the waters.
Palestinian groups including Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine have condemned these attacks.
