At the same time, in defense of his performance, he said that he knew exactly what to do after coming to power in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and then the war in Ukraine.
Biden then continued: “That’s why I’m coming.” He also pointed to the close competition with 77-year-old Donald Trump and added: “I ran because democracy is at stake.” “Because democracy will once again depend on elections in 2024 and let there be no question. The American president’s statements come while the results of numerous polls show that despite the age difference between Biden and Trump being only three years, voters are more concerned about Biden’s mental health than Trump.
The results of a new poll released over the weekend by CBS News and YouGov, a leading pollster, also show that only 34 percent of voters believe Biden is capable of winning a second term to finish, while in the case of Trump, this figure is 55 percent.
