Biden vs. Trump: Who is ahead in the polls?

PNN – The results of the polls in the United States, which was conducted following the historic conviction of former US President Donald Trump in court, showed that the current US President Joe Biden is ahead of Trump by a margin of two percentage points.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Reuters news agency wrote the results of a polls by this news agency and the Ipsos institute on Friday, following Trump’s historic conviction by a court jury on charges of falsifying financial documents to hide the payment of hush money to an unethical film actor, show Biden’s superiority in the election.

This report added: In a two-day polls of eligible American voters conducted hours after Trump was found guilty by a Manhattan jury, 41 percent said they would vote for Democratic President Biden if the US presidential election were held today.

But 39% of them introduced Trump as their choice. This is while about 20% of the voters said that they would not choose a candidate and were inclined to the candidates of the third party, or they stated that they may not participate in the elections at all.

Reuters wrote: Biden has an almost two percent lead over Trump in this poll, while there are almost five months left until the November 5 election in the United States.

If anti-vaccine activist Robert Kennedy Jr. ran as an independent candidate in the upcoming election, 10 percent of voters would choose him, a new poll found.

Kennedy was supported by 13 percent of voters in the previous Reuters Ipsos poll.

A recent poll of adults across the country found that one in 10 eligible voters would vote for him Republican following Trump’s conviction.

Trump, 77, is still facing other criminal charges, including his attempt to overturn his 2020 election loss. He has claimed innocence in all these charges.

But the issue of Biden’s age, who is 81 years old, and the criticism of the Democratic Party’s support for Israel’s war in Gaza, have weakened the support for Biden. Protests in American universities have raised the concerns of Democrats about the possibility of young voters opposing him.

The recent survey was conducted online with the participation of 2,135 people.

The jury of the New York court found former President Trump guilty in the case of payment of hush money and 34 related charges. The 12 members of the jury of the Manhattan Court of New York, who are from New York City, sought to examine the evidence and the veracity of the statements of key witnesses in the case of Trump’s right to remain silent, and finally found him guilty of 34 charges.
