Bin Farhan: Our agreement with Iran is based on mutual respect.
According to Al Jazeera, in his speech at the UN General Assembly, the Saudi Foreign Minister mentioned various issues, including the resumption of diplomatic relations with Tehran.
According to this report, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan said during his speech at the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly: “Our agreement with Iran is based on mutual respect and non-interference in each other’s affairs.”
According to Al Jazeera, Faisal bin Farhan also mentioned the Palestinian issue and said: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia emphasizes that the security of the Middle East requires achieving a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.”
Referring to the war in Ukraine, the Saudi Foreign Minister called for an end to this crisis and “peaceful resolution of disputes” and “respect for international laws”.
He also asked the parties to the crisis in Sudan to reduce the tension and protect the civilians.
It should be noted that the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations started on Tuesday morning in New York. So far, the Ukrainian war and climate change have been the focus of the speeches of this meeting.
