Pak Sahafat – The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, said in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday that Riyadh is approaching the normalization of relations with Tel Aviv on the condition that the Palestinians’ goals are met.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Mohammad bin Salman added: “The Palestinian issue is important for normalizing relations with (the regime of) Israel.”
Before this, “Elaf” newspaper announced that Saudi Arabia has stopped any negotiations to normalize relations with the Zionist regime.
In another part of this interview, he stated that there is no point in having a nuclear weapon because it cannot be used, and added: “The world cannot tolerate a new Hiroshima.”
Expressing his concern about countries acquiring nuclear weapons, Bin Salman said: Any country that uses nuclear weapons will be at war with all the countries of the world.
The Saudi crown prince further claimed that if Iran obtains a nuclear weapon, we must obtain it as well.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly declared that nuclear weapons have no place in the country’s doctrine, and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution has also declared the use of nuclear weapons to be haram.
Mohammed bin Salman also said that bin Laden was an enemy of Saudi Arabia, just as he was an enemy of America.
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia further mentioned the presence of Saudi clubs in Iran to participate in football competitions and added: Saudi clubs playing in Iranian stadiums is good.
Bin Salman also said: We want Iran to have positive cooperation with the countries of the Middle East region.
He added: Iran behaves seriously in the agreement to restore relations with Saudi Arabia, and China chose to mediate between us and Iran.
Bin Salman also stated that Saudi Arabia does not want problems in Yemen and said: We are working in all fields related to the issue of Yemen and we are paying attention to the revival of the economy, and now there is an opportunity to end the conflict in Yemen.
He further added that Saudi Arabia wants American and foreign companies to come and invest in a safe environment in the Middle East.
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia added: The BRICS group consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa poses no threat to the West or America and has no geopolitical competition with them.
Bin Salman added: We are one of the five largest buyers of American weapons and we have important security relations with Washington, and our action to buy weapons from countries other than the United States is not in the interest of the United States.
He also said: “Washington made a proposal to establish relations with (the) Israeli regime, and the negotiations are ongoing and good.”
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia also added that we are working hard to resolve the crisis between Russia and Ukraine.
In the end, he said: We have good relations with Russia and Ukraine, and we hope that the region and all its countries will enjoy security and stability in order to progress economically.
