Bitter Clash: Trump and Biden Engage in Fierce Exchange in Historic Debate.
According to CNN, the first round of the US presidential election debates will be held this morning between Joe Biden, the president and representative of the Democratic Party, and Donald Trump, the former president and representative of the Republican Party of America.
This round of debates will be hosted by Atlanta in the state of Georgia; Where thousands of protestors of the Gaza war and supporters of Palestine have gathered outside the debate venue and chant slogans about ending support for Tel Aviv and establishing peace in Gaza.
As expected, the two sides entered the debate scene without shaking hands or greeting each other. This debate, hosted by CNN, focuses on the economic conditions and political problems of America.
In response to a question about America’s economic conditions, Biden said: The Trump administration handed me a collapsed economy. We saw rampant unemployment at the end of the previous administration. Hence, we had to reorganize the situation. Things were terrible under Trump and he didn’t do much for our economy. His period was full of chaos.
Trump also started his speech by attacking the Biden government and said: My era was the best economic era. However, when Biden came to work, the economic conditions were disrupted and inflation reached its worst state. I gave the biggest tax break to American citizens.
In response, Biden declared: Trump’s economic policies were rewarding the rich.
Both candidates defended their management during the Corona epidemic and considered their government successful in this field.
Referring to the war in Afghanistan, Biden said: During the Trump era, we were still at war in Afghanistan.
Trump also said in response: I had planned for a proper and strong exit from Afghanistan, but when we handed over the government, Biden left Afghanistan in such a way that it was the most shameful moment in the history of America.
