“Black June”: How did the war with Iran cripple the Zionist regime’s economy?
The 12-day war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Zionist regime had various consequences on the political, economic, and social scene of the occupied territories, some of which were openly visible to everyone, while others remained hidden and were hidden in the news and reports published by various Zionist institutions.
In this regard, based on the indicators of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel and the continuous studies of the chief economist of the Ministry of Finance of this regime, it was found that the housing rental market is facing a rapid increase in prices, while the number of apartments for rent is decreasing every month.
Concerns about the increase in rent prices after the war with Iran arise in a situation where this conflict led to the evacuation of approximately 15,000 settlers from apartments that were damaged to varying degrees, and now this group has also been added to the housing market of the occupied territories as new applicants.
Currently, rents account for about a quarter of the total consumer price index (household basket) in the occupied territories, and therefore, their increase will lead to higher inflation.
