Blinken: The Saudis are still willing to normalize relations with Israel

PNN – Blinken said: I told the prime minister and two Israeli officials that the price of military operations against civilians in Gaza remains high. We ask Israel to do more to help the civilians of Gaza.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken claimed on Thursday morning that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his desire to pursue the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.

During a press conference at the American Embassy in occupied Jerusalem after meeting with Zionist officials, Blinken said that Bin Salman described the conditions for the normalization of relations as a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip and the establishment of a clear and credible path for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Stating that he discussed with the Zionist official about Hamas’s reaction to the proposed prisoner exchange agreement, he explained: There is room to achieve what we want. But there are some cases that were not accepted in Hamas’ response to this proposal.

According to Al Jazeera website, the US Secretary of State continued: I told the Prime Minister and two Israeli officials that the price of military operations against civilians in Gaza is still high. We ask Israel to do more to help the civilians of Gaza.

While emphasizing the need to maintain the actions of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip, Blinken claimed: “We are very concerned about the accusations against a number of UNRWA employees that they participated in the October 7 attacks.”
