Blinken: We have a clear plan for post-war Gaza.

According to Al Jazeera, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who visited the occupied territories in recent days, claimed that “we have clear plans for the future of Gaza after the war.”

The US Secretary of State claimed that “the time has come for Israel to turn military success into a strategy.” He said: There are two things left, returning the hostages and ending the war, and we are considering the possibility of designing new formulas to achieve these two goals.

He further claimed that we are trying to reach a clear understanding of governance and security in Gaza. There should be specific plans to move things forward in Gaza after the war.

A few hours ago, the US Foreign Ministry issued a statement announcing the conversation between Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Israel President Isaac Herzog.

The statement published in this context, written in Blinken’s words, states: “In the meeting with Netanyahu, I discussed charting the path of peace and sustainable security between the Zionists and the Palestinians.”

In the statement of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the meeting with Herzog, it is also emphasized: In this meeting, I discussed and consulted about reducing the level of tensions.

Blinken claimed efforts to end the Gaza war and establish peace in the region.
