Blinken: We respond to any aggression against our forces

PNN – On Tuesday morning, the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that the situation in West Asia is very tense and said: “Since 1973, we have not seen anything more dangerous than the current scene.”

According to Pakistan News Network, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken threatened on Tuesday morning that they will respond to the attacks against the country’s military in West Asia at the right time and place.

In a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Blinken said, claiming that the US wants lasting peace in West Asia, “We warn those who try to profit from the war in the Middle East.”

According to the American media, while referring to his conversation with Qatar’s foreign minister about the measures for the release of Zionist prisoners and the widespread ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, he said: “We remain focused on our main goals in the region.”

The US Secretary of State explaining that the situation in West Asia is very tense, said: “Since 1973, we have not seen anything more dangerous than the current scene. We are determined to do everything possible so that we do not witness the spread of the conflict.”

Stating that the presence of American forces in Iraq and Syria has nothing to do with Gaza and the conflict there, Blinken claimed: “Our response to attacks against our forces will be on several levels.”

In this press conference, the Secretary General of NATO also accused Iran of destabilizing the West Asian region and claimed that Tehran is responsible for those attacks due to its support for the Yemeni army that attacks ships in the Red Sea.
