Blinken’s explanation about his trip to occupied Palestine.

Blinken’s explanation about his trip to occupied Palestine.
The US Secretary of State announced in a message that he will talk with the Prime Minister the head of the Zionist interim regime and other Tel Aviv officials during his trip to occupied Palestine.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blaken, who arrived in occupied Palestine, announced in a message on X that he has returned to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog and other Tel Aviv officials.

He added that “Israel’s right to defend itself” and “working to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza civilians” will be the subject of his talks.

On the way to Tel Aviv, the US foreign minister claimed in a message that he would return “for more diplomacy at a very challenging time”. “We will continue to work with regional leaders to protect civilians and prevent the spread of conflict,” Blinken added. We are still focused on the two countries and wider peace and security in the region.”

These claims are despite the martyrdom of more than nine thousand Palestinians in the Gaza Strip under Tel Aviv’s attacks, Washington opposes the ceasefire and continues to fully support the crimes of the Zionist regime under the pretext of “self-defense”.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby reminded again on Thursday night that the Joe Biden administration is not looking for a ceasefire in Gaza and wants a “humanitarian pause” in the war. Defining what he called a humanitarian pause, he said: “What we want are temporary and localized pauses in conflicts to achieve one or more specific objectives.”

An hour earlier, the American newspaper reported, citing White House officials, that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will seek to persuade Tel Aviv to agree to “brief pauses” in military operations in Gaza during his visit to occupied Palestine.

The New York Times newspaper, reporting this news, added that Blinken’s goal is to release the “hostages” and make it possible to distribute humanitarian aid among the residents of Gaza.
