Blockade of Tel Aviv’s main highway by Netanyahu protesters

PNN – Protesters of the ruling cabinet headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blocked the main highway of Tel Aviv.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from “Al-Mayadin” TV channel, protesters against the policies of the Israeli prime minister’s cabinet blocked Highway No. 40, which is the longest highway in the occupied territories after Highway No. 90.

“Highway 40”, which is 302 kilometers long, connects the north of Tel Aviv to its south, and the Zionist protesters blocked it near the “Magshimim” intersection in the east of Tel Aviv.

Protests against the performance of Netanyahu’s cabinet and emphasizing the need for his resignation and the holding of early Knesset (Parliament) elections by the settlers, including the families of the Zionist prisoners, continue. They also want to close the prisoner exchange agreement with the Palestinian resistance.

In this regard, on Saturday night, various areas of the occupied territories witnessed demonstrations against Netanyahu, which turned violent, and Tel Aviv police forces attacked the protesters.

Demonstrators in the occupied city of Quds and Tel Aviv demanded the overthrow of Netanyahu’s cabinet and the signing of a cease-fire agreement for the exchange of prisoners with the Palestinian resistance.

The demonstration was held after the families of the Zionist prisoners in the Gaza Strip, who are extremely angry at the occupation regime’s cabinet’s indifference to the fate of their children, issued a call and announced: We call on all Israelis to take to the streets to pressure Netanyahu to conclude a prisoner exchange agreement.

The family of the Zionist captives emphasized: We are on the verge of the beginning of the war on the northern front (the battle front with Hezbollah) and if this happens, there is no hope for the condition of our captive children to improve.

In the continuation of this statement, criticizing Netanyahu’s cabinet, it is stated: The continuation of the current war means the death of our children.

The families of the Zionist prisoners blame the Zionist regime’s cabinet, headed by Netanyahu, for the fact that their children remain in captivity, and for this reason, they hold daily demonstrations against him in different areas of the occupied territories and demand his removal.

About 9 months have passed since the Al-Aqsa storm operation and the captivity of a number of Zionists by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, despite the widespread aggression on the Gaza Strip, this regime has not only been unable to release the said prisoners, but a large number of them have been killed in airstrikes and artillery of this regime have been killed in different areas of Gaza.

This has led to the beginning of a wide wave of protests by the families of the said prisoners throughout the occupied territories.
