PNN – The American media warned that in a situation where Republicans’ opposition to the government’s border policies has intensified, Biden’s efforts to provide financial and military aid to Ukraine, Taiwan and the Zionist regime will face a dead end.
According to Pakistan News Network, this week the President of the United States will send a request for emergency financial aid to the Zionist regime, Ukraine and Taiwan to the Congress. However, Senate Republicans have acknowledged that the Biden administration and Democratic lawmakers must first agree to significant immigration reform to have any chance of passing the bill.
According to “Hill” report, Joe Biden’s request for financial and military support to the Zionist regime and two other countries is estimated at more than 100 billion dollars, and of this amount, 10 billion dollars is intended only for the Zionist regime.
According to Senate Republicans who are now involved in negotiations on US border security, the President’s request is far less important than what they want to implement to prevent a massive flood of immigration across the US-Mexico border.
Senator John Cornyn, the senior United States senator from Texas, as one of the prominent figures of the Republicans in the field of immigration policy reforms, said: I am sure that in the case of border security, the necessary financial resources are not allocated by the government, and basically the Biden government does not pay much attention to this issue.
As a member of the Senate Republican leadership team, Cornyn said the Biden administration should include important policy reforms in the national security budget package. According to him, not including these amendments for the approval of the general budget bill will be problematic.
Other Republican senators told top administration officials during a confidential briefing Wednesday afternoon that any emergency defense spending package must include significant reforms to US border security.
