PNN – The European Union’s foreign policy official Joseph Borrell said on Wednesday evening that UNRWA’s life-saving operations in the Gaza Strip are the main pillar of sending humanitarian aid to the residents of the region.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, “Joseph Borrell” in charge of the foreign policy of the European Union announced on Wednesday evening his agreement with the words of “Antonio Guterres” of the Secretary General of the United Nations at the Security Council meeting about Gaza.
Burrell wrote on his personal page on the X social network (formerly Twitter): “What is happening in Gaza is a wound on the common [human] conscience of all of us.”
He also explained about the accusations made by the Zionist regime against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip: “UNRWA reacted quickly after making accusations against some of its employees.”

This European official stated that UNRWA’s rescue operations in the Gaza Strip are the main pillar of sending humanitarian aid to the residents of this area, and emphasized that the UN member states must also ensure the continuation of these operations.
Burrell previously also criticized the positions of the Zionist regime regarding the formation of an independent Palestinian state and said that this regime does not have the right to veto the issue of determining the fate of Palestine.
He had said before that the negotiations for the implementation of the two-state solution in occupied Palestine will continue, whether the Zionist regime wants it or not.
