PNN – The British Defense Minister said (Monday) that he expects the future administration of “Donald Trump” in the United States to remain committed to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Ukraine in conflicts with Russia as long as it continues.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Reuters news agency wrote: In response to the question of whether support for Ukraine has decreased since Donald Trump won the US presidential election, John Haley told Sky News: President Trump understands that security comes from power, as alliances like NATO have sought to maintain.
He said: I expect America to stay with its allies like England and support Ukraine until it overcomes the aggression of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Haley also said that the US government’s commitment to NATO and European security will remain strong during Trump’s presidency.
He added: He has been arguing for a long time that European countries should take stronger measures in relation to increasing their defense budgets.

The British official also stated that he does not expect the US to turn away from NATO.
He said: They understand the importance of this coalition and refraining from further conflict in Europe.
Previously, James Stavridis, the former top commander of NATO, predicted that when the Trump administration takes office and fulfills his promise to end the war in Ukraine, the conflict will end with Moscow taking over 20% of Ukraine’s territory.
Trump has already announced many times that if he sits at the negotiating table with Russian President Putin and Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, he will end the war between these two countries within 24 hours.
The Washington Post newspaper claimed on Sunday night that Trump, in a phone call with Russian President Putin last Thursday, asked him to avoid escalating the war with Ukraine.
He had a conversation with the President of Ukraine the day before.
