Britain’s conditions for Palestine!
The Telegraph newspaper reported that the British Prime Minister has set several conditions for establishing full political relations with Palestine, citing Russia Today.
According to the report, informed sources said that Starmer wants the Palestinian Authority to stop paying stipends to the families of Palestinian martyrs who were martyred or arrested during anti-Zionist operations.
He also demanded that the so-called anti-Semitic textbooks in Palestinian schools be changed and that new elections be held before the opening of the British embassy in East Jerusalem or the signing of international agreements. It seems that other conditions may also be raised in this regard.
It should be noted that the British Prime Minister recognized the state of Palestine on Sunday. This is while Walid Jumblatt, the political leader of the Druze people of Lebanon and the former head of the Progressive Socialist Party of Lebanon, reacted to this move by London.
He said: “After 108 years of the crime of the Balfour Declaration (the establishment of a fake regime in Palestine) against the Palestinian people, this British action is nothing but the height of historical hypocrisy.” It is worth noting that in 1917, when Palestine was under the mandate of London, the British government issued the Balfour Declaration (the name of the British Foreign Secretary at the time) and gave the Jews the right to establish their fake state in the historical lands of Palestine.
