PNN – In the emergency session of the Security Council regarding Iran’s punitive action, Britain’s representative to the United Nations reiterated London’s support for Tel Aviv and said: Iran’s first direct attack on Israel has endangered security and stability in the Middle East.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Mrs. Barbara Woodward, the representative of the United Kingdom in the United Nations, in the emergency meeting of the Security Council regarding Iran’s punitive action, reiterated London’s support for Tel Aviv and said: Iran’s first direct attack on Israel has jeopardized security and stability in the Middle East.
Repeating the anti-Iranian claims, without mentioning that Iran’s action was in response to the aggressive act of the Zionist regime against the Iranian consular section in Damascus, he claimed: Iran once again showed that it is seeking chaos in the region.
He emphasized: England is committed to supporting Israel’s security.

He said that his country will cooperate with other members of the international community to prevent further escalation of the situation.
Woodward also called on Iran to release the cargo ship it recently seized in the south and its sailors.
He said about the implementation of the UN resolution on the ceasefire in Gaza without condemning Israel’s non-compliance with this resolution: The UK is determined to work with members of the international community to implement this resolution and an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
