PNN – The senior member of the largest anti-war campaign in England considered US President Donald Trump’s plan to forcibly transfer Palestinians from Gaza to be a “clear war crime” and stated that the silence of European authorities in this regard is shameful.
Stephen Bell of the “Stop the War Coalition” said in an interview in London: Trump’s proposal to expel Palestinians from Gaza is a clear violation of international obligations to protect civilians and is considered a war crime.
Recalling the policies of the first term of Trump’s presidency, he added: Trump’s disregard for Palestinian national rights is not surprising. In the first term of his presidency, he ignored the rights of the Palestinians by supporting the “Deal of the Century” plan prepared by Jared Kushner. In that plan, although the possibility of forming a Palestinian state was raised if the United States and the Zionist regime agreed, the Palestinians would actually receive only a few isolated pieces of land on the Egyptian border, and in return, the entire Jordan Valley would be handed over to Israel.

Bell continued: The plan of the deal of the century was designed with the assumption that the increase in the standard of living of the Palestinians through the financial aid of the Persian Gulf countries will destroy their demands for national rights. Even now, the connection between those pessimistic plans and the current proposal to expel the Palestinians is clearly seen.
This anti-war analyst warned that Europe’s implicit support for the policies of the US and the Zionist regime will have dire consequences for the Palestinians and added: The policies of the West have not only fueled the occupation and crimes against the Palestinian people, but with their silence in the face of obvious crimes, they have become a kind of complicity in these crimes.
Stephen Bell emphasized in the end: Although the unconditional support of the United States to the Zionist regime is unprecedented, what is more worrying today is Europe’s silence and passivity in the face of these crimes, which have no justification.
Last week, during the meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, the President of the United States proposed the forced evacuation of Palestinians from Gaza and their transfer to other countries, and also announced that the United States will take control of this strip. These statements, which are reminiscent of colonial policies and violate international laws, brought a wave of international reactions.
