British Foreign Minister: Gaza needs 500 aid trucks daily

PNN – David Cameron announced in a news conference with his German counterpart Analena Baerbock that Gaza needs 500 aid trucks daily.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from “Al Jazeera English”, he said: Although the UK is exploring air and sea options to deliver vital aid to the Gaza Strip, the most effective way to immediately alleviate Palestinian suffering is to send aid to Gaza by land route.

Cameron told reporters: “We must not forget the fact that if we want to prevent famine and disease and help the people of Gaza, we need 500 trucks a day.”

He called for the resolution of differences between aid organizations and the Israeli army to prevent attacks on convoys in Gaza.

The state media office in Gaza also announced in a statement: The Israeli army targeted the Palestinians who had arrived at Kuwait Square to receive flour and food aid with war bullets.

It is stated in this statement that this crime was committed in the context of the Israeli regime’s attempt to cause more famine, the continuation of the siege and the unwillingness to end this human tragedy.

The state media office in Gaza added: Considering the high number of deaths caused by hunger, malnutrition and lack of food among the displaced people of Gaza, we hold the American government, the Israeli regime and the international community responsible for the worsening of the situation and the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, on November 24, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and the Zionist regime.

This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally on Friday morning (December 1, 2023) the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks against Gaza.

In order to retaliate against the “Al-Aqsa Storm” attacks, compensate for its defeat and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.
