PNN – The British Foreign Minister, in response to the controversial words of US President Donald Trump about the future of Gaza and the plan to forcibly evacuate Palestinians from this strip, emphasized that they should live in their own land.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, David Lemmy said in a meeting with journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday: We have always emphasized the two-state solution. Palestinians should live and prosper in their homeland in Gaza and the West Bank.
Before him, British Environment Minister Steve Reid reacted to Trump’s words and emphasized that London’s position has not changed and the solution to the Palestinian crisis must be based on a “two-state solution”. In similar statements, he emphasized the need to guarantee the right of Palestinians to live in their land.

Recently, in a press conference at the White House and in a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Trump claimed that “Palestinians have no choice but to leave Gaza.” He claimed that the living conditions in this region have become very dangerous and a solution must be found to transfer its people to other countries.
Trump also suggested that the United States take control of Gaza and turn the region into the “Riviera of the Middle East”. He claimed that the countries of Egypt and Jordan should accept the refugees from Gaza and supported the investment of Arab countries for the resettlement of Palestinians outside of Gaza.
This proposal was met with a strong reaction from Arab countries and Palestinian leaders. The foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, along with senior officials of the Palestinian Authority, expressed their objection to this plan in an official letter to Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State.
They emphasized that the reconstruction of Gaza should be done by the Palestinian people in their own land and they should not be forced out of their homes. Arab countries have also emphasized that they will not allow a permanent displacement crisis for the Palestinians.
