Cairo offers to host an international and regional meeting on Gaza.
Egypt’s National Security Council proposed today to host an international and regional meeting in the shadow of the current war in Gaza to discuss the future of the Palestinian issue.
Today (Sunday, October 15), Egypt’s National Security Council held a meeting chaired by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to review regional developments, especially developments related to the escalation of the military conflict in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Egyptian website “Elyum al-Saviim”, at the end of this meeting, the National Security Council of Egypt announced its invitation to host an international regional meeting in order to deal with the developments and the future of the Palestinian issue.
Continuing communication with international and regional partners in order to reduce the escalation and stop the targeting of civilians, increasing contacts with international and regional aid organizations to deliver the desired aid, emphasizing that there is no solution to the Palestinian issue except a two-state solution, rejecting and Condemning the policy of forced resettlement of Palestinians or trying to destroy the Palestinian cause at the expense of neighboring countries, Egypt’s readiness to make any effort to calm the situation and start and resume a real peace process were among the other resolutions of today’s meeting of the Egyptian National Security Council.
The National Security Council of Egypt also emphasized that the national security of Egypt is a red line and there will be no neglect in this regard.
For years, the Zionist regime has been talking about the settlement of Palestinians in the Sinai of Egypt and claims that the Sinai Peninsula is the best place for the Palestinians to establish their country there! This has been met with a strong reaction by the Palestinian people and its resistance leaders, who declare that the land of Sinai belongs to Egypt that Palestine itself is a land, and that the Palestinian people will never replace a place with their homeland.
This plan is strongly opposed by Cairo. Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry previously said in this regard: “Egypt is against any comments from any faction and any thoughts about weakening the territorial integrity of Egypt, especially the Sinai desert, for which the Egyptian people have sacrificed their lives… an obligation of “We will not give Sinai land to anyone and we will never allow anyone to encroach on it.”

On the other hand, the Zionist regime has planned to transfer the residents of the north of the Gaza Strip to the south, and in the last nine days, most of the infrastructure and residential areas in the north of the Gaza Strip have been razed to the ground, with a humanitarian gesture, it has planned to transfer the Palestinian refugees to the south.
