PNN – Organizers of protests against US Immigration and Customs Enforcement have announced that a nationwide strike will be held across the United States on April 5, an action aimed at pressuring the government to change its immigration enforcement policies and release files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Organizers of the rally announced that a nationwide strike will be held across the United States on April 5, with protesters demanding changes in immigration enforcement policies as well as the release of files related to American financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A statement published on the General Strike 2026 website states: “April 5th; Nationwide strike. Widespread disruption. All who can – no work, no school.”

The statement also stated the protesters’ demands: What the people want: Stop what has been called the killing and kidnapping of innocent people by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the removal and full trial of the [US President Donald Trump] administration, and the release of the Epstein files.

Organizers have warned that some businesses and schools may close and public transportation may be disrupted on the day of the strike, a move they say is intended to increase pressure on the government to respond to the protesters’ demands.

The planned action follows protests against US Immigration and Customs Enforcement that took place on January 30.

Also this week, as tensions escalated over a war with Iran, massive “No Kings” demonstrations were held in various cities across the United States, where protesters rallied to criticize the US government’s policies toward the war and domestic issues. The protests, which were held in dozens of cities, including New York, were supported by some well-known figures, and reports indicate that around 9 million people attended the rallies.
