PNN – Canada’s foreign minister condemned Israel’s airstrikes on Lebanon and called for respect for the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand stating in a statement that “Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected, said: We strongly condemn the Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, including Beirut, which have resulted in civilian casualties and targeted civilian infrastructure.
The Canadian Foreign Minister added: The protection of civilians is a non-negotiable obligation under international law. Therefore, we call on Israel to respect the territorial integrity of Lebanon. In addition, we call on Israel to implement and adhere to a permanent ceasefire.
