PNN – The mayor of “Oakville” Canada linked any talk and discussion about establishing a ceasefire in Gaza to anti-Semitism.
According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, “Bob Barton”, the mayor of the Canadian city of Oakville, in a strange position, called the move of the said city council to discuss the necessity of establishing a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners between the Zionist regime and Hamas, out of the agenda and an attempt to promote hatred and project views.
According to “Middle East Monitor” report, Barton claimed that the mentioned issue should be removed from the agenda of the Council and should not be allowed to raise anti-Semitic views that benefit the Palestinians in their confrontation with Israel.
Barton’s stance was taken in the context that he had previously said that he had received hundreds of emails from all over Canada regarding the Oakville City Council meeting centered on the request for an immediate ceasefire in the form of the Gaza war.
