Cancellation of the contract of the third sports sponsor with the Israeli Football Federation.
According to the BDS website, Italian sportswear company Erreà terminated its contract with the Israeli Football Federation less than 2 months after signing it, due to the membership of teams based in the occupied Israeli settlements in the federation; a move that is being hailed as a new victory for the boycott movement of the regime.
With this move, Italian sportswear company Erreà became the third company to stop its financial support of the Israeli Football Federation.
Previously, Puma and Adidas had also ended their cooperation with the federation under pressure from global boycott campaigns.
The global boycott movement known as BDS stated in a statement on this matter: Erreà quickly realized the potential damage to its reputation and terminated the contract with the Israeli regime before the official start of cooperation.
