PNN – In his first press conference after the operation of Hamas last Saturday, Tashi Hangbi, the head of the Security Council of the Zionist regime, admitted that his regime suffered a miscalculation and failure.
According to the Pakistan News Network, when he announced a few days before the attack that we were able to deter Hamas, he was wrong.
In response to a reporter’s question, Hangbi said: This is my mistake and it reflects the mistake of the factors that have been assessing the situation for many years. In the previous round of conflict with Gaza (Shield and Arrow), Islamic Jihad asked Hamas for help, but Hamas decided not to get involved in this conflict, perhaps this was one of the reasons why we came to the impression that they had reached an understanding of deterrence.
He also claimed that he rejected the published reports regarding the sending of information from Egypt to Israel regarding the occurrence of a major incident in Gaza and said: The Egyptians did not send us such a warning message, it was not sent directly or indirectly, neither explicitly nor in an envelope, and this message came from the Egyptian Minister of Information first hand.
Hengbi admitted: Israel has suffered a heavy blow and further emphasized: The Chief of Staff of the Army also announced that the army did not fulfill its duty, the Prime Minister has ordered a full investigation, but for now we are engaged in war and this will be done later.
In this press conference, the head of the Security Council of the Zionist regime refused to announce the number of Zionist prisoners in Gaza, he claimed that we do not have any method to negotiate with the enemy that we want to destroy.
Hengbi’s claims are raised while the Hebrew-language media, quoting knowledgeable sources, assert that the Zionist regime was informed of the large-scale movements near the barrier wall hours before the operation, and even the head of Shabak came to his office at night for this reason.
