China: Gaza is not a political bargaining tool/ this area is an inseparable part of Palestinian territory

PNN – In response to the Donald Trump administration’s plan to relocate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, which has faced global opposition, China’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that the region belongs to the Palestinians and is not a tool for political bargaining.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting from CGTN, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said in a press conference on Thursday in response to Trump’s latest plan to “take control and ownership of Gaza” by the United States: Gaza belongs to the Palestinians and is an integral part of the Palestinian territory and is not a tool for political deals and bargaining.

Referring to the widespread destruction of Gaza due to the war, he asked the international community to work together to provide humanitarian aid and rebuild Gaza instead of worsening the situation.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry added that Beijing firmly supports the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and has always believed that the Palestinians should rule Palestine.

Jiakun further pointed out that Beijing considers this issue an important principle that must be observed in the post-Gaza war situation and that China is willing to find a political solution to the Palestinian issue with the cooperation of the international community.

US President Donald Trump demanded the complete evacuation of the Gaza Strip and the relocation of its residents to neighboring Arab countries and other regions and the US control over the Gaza Strip.

He excused the lack of living conditions in the Gaza Strip due to the extensive destruction caused by the attacks of the Zionist army and ordered the Arab countries neighboring the occupied territories, including Egypt and Jordan, to welcome the people of Gaza and settle them.

Following Trump’s statements, many countries in the world, especially Islamic countries, including Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, expressed their opposition to this plan in a statement.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran also categorically rejected the plan to clean up Gaza and acquire it by the United States.
