China: Israel should stop the collective punishment of the people of Gaza.
Emphasizing the cessation of the war in Gaza, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China called on the Zionist regime to stop the collective punishment of the people in Gaza.
On Wednesday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry called on all parties involved in the conflict in Gaza to stop the fighting.
“We call on the parties involved in Gaza to seriously implement the resolutions of the UN Security Council,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The statement said: “We call for a comprehensive and immediate cessation of hostilities, and we call on Israel to stop the collective punishment of the residents of Gaza.”
Meanwhile, the UN Refugee Agency announced on Tuesday that the Gaza Strip has become an “uninhabitable place” due to the attacks of the Israeli regime.
“Gaza is the worst place on earth and it is becoming an uninhabitable place,” said Adnan Abu Hassane, the spokesman of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees.
He added: “There are 1.9 million displaced persons throughout this region, of which about 1.4 million people live in 155 schools and shelters under the administration of the United Nations.”
Also, the information office of the Hamas government in Gaza announced that in the ninety-five days of the war, the Zionist regime carried out 1,944 killings, leaving 30,210 martyrs missing.
During the Zionist attacks, more than 10,000 children and 7,000 women were martyred. Moreover, the number of medical staff martyrs has reached 326 people, civil defense martyrs have reached 45 people, and journalist martyrs have reached 112 people.
The spokesperson of the United Nations Refugee Agency said that most of the people of Gaza have been forced to flee to the city of “Rafah” in the south of Gaza near the border with Egypt. Abu Hasna said that the number of displaced people will probably reach 1.5 million.
The United Nations has announced that about 85 percent of the residents of Gaza have been displaced. Hundreds of thousands of residents live without shelter.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that one out of every 100 people in Gaza has been martyred so far. This staggering number of casualties means that one percent of the 2.27 million population of the besieged Gaza Strip has been killed so far.
