PNN – China’s Foreign Ministry responded to US economic measures against Brazil.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Mayadeen, the Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the imposition of US customs tariffs against Brazil, emphasizing that it supports the country in its resistance to bullying behavior.
The ministry added that it opposes foreign interference in Brazil’s internal affairs.

The Brazilian president recently said that the United States was trying to stage a “coup” in the country, and that Washington’s efforts to use political pressure to impose tariffs against Brazil are condemned.
Da Silva warned that Brazil will not accept unequal treatment and is ready to defend its interests on the global stage.
Referring to US President Donald Trump’s recent threats to impose a 50% tariff on Brazilian exports, he said: Attempting to use political tools to impose economic sanctions against us is unacceptable.
The Brazilian president also emphasized his position on replacing the US dollar for international trade, noting that the country is no longer economically dependent on the US.
