China: US sanctions will not go unanswered

PNN – The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China announced that the country is taking necessary measures to protect its companies against Western sanctions.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Reuters, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that the country will respond to the sanctions against Chinese companies.

“Mao Ning”, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, announced that China has an objective and impartial position on the Ukraine crisis.

The senior Chinese diplomat emphasized that Beijing is working for peace talks and has a constructive role for the political settlement of the crisis.

Mao added: The usual commercial and economic cooperation between China and Russia does not target any third party.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry stressed that China firmly opposes illegal unilateral sanctions against Chinese companies and will take necessary measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Chinese companies.

On Friday, the US government imposed new trade restrictions on 93 entities for supporting Russia’s war efforts in Ukraine. The new US sanctions on 93 entities from China, Russia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, India and South Korea. These companies will be subject to trade restrictions.

The Ministry of Commerce of China announced on Monday that in response to the recent sanctions of some Western countries against Chinese companies, it will take necessary measures to resolutely protect the rights and legitimate interests of Chinese companies.
