PNN – The Chinese military announced that it would tighten the noose around separatists on the island of Taiwan if they escalate their actions.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing France 24, Chinese military spokesman Wu Qian warned Taiwan separatists that if separatist actions escalate, Beijing’s military would tighten the siege around the island.
Xinhua quoted Qian as saying: The more rebellious Taiwan separatists become, the tighter the noose around their necks and the sharper the razor hanging over their heads will become.

He stressed: The People’s Liberation Army (of China) is pragmatic in countering separatism and promoting reunification. You have ridden your horse to the edge of the precipice, but there is still ground behind you to step on; if you persist in the wrong path, you will face a dead end.
Taiwan’s leader, Lai Ching-te, has repeatedly claimed that he has no desire to pursue Taiwanese independence, a claim that is in stark contradiction with his 2017 self-description, when he said he was “pragmatic in serving Taiwan’s independence.” Beijing calls him a fanatical separatist and has consistently warned against his separatist actions.
China considers the island of Taiwan part of its territory and has described any attempt at independence for the island, as well as the sale of arms to it by the United States, as a violation of the “One China” principle, and has repeatedly warned Washington about it.
