China’s Role in Ukraine War Escalation Sparks NATO Outrage, Calls for Retribution.
According to Russia Today, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg repeated the claims about China helping Russia in the war with Ukraine and supplying microchips and other important parts to Moscow, saying that Beijing should be punished for these actions!
In a speech at the Wilson Center in Washington, Stoltenberg claimed: The reality is that China is fighting the biggest armed conflict in Europe since World War II, and at the same time it wants to maintain good relations with the West.
He continued: Beijing cannot want both at the same time. At some point, the allies (NATO) must impose a cost on this country unless it changes its course.
Since the start of the Ukraine crisis in February 2022, Stoltenberg has repeatedly taken a stance against China and claimed that Beijing is providing Russia in the fight against the “European friend of NATO”, i.e. Ukraine.
While the Secretary General of NATO makes the claim that the countries of this military alliance led by the United States, by providing hundreds of billions of dollars of financial and economic aid to Ukraine, have always fueled the fire of war and followed it from the beginning.
In his recent speech, Stoltenberg criticized Beijing and said that NATO might impose sanctions on China. He also claimed that North Korea and Iran also support Russia! An issue that these countries, including Iran, have strongly rejected.
He further reminded that NATO should be more active in the Indo-Pacific in order to deal with the “expansion of cooperation and convergence between Russia and its authoritarian friends in Asia”. Stoltenberg also claimed to have invited the leaders of Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand to attend next month’s NATO summit in Washington.
