CNN: Biden did not receive a passing grade from most Americans

PNN – According to a new CNN poll, while most Americans are dissatisfied with both the Democratic and Republican candidates for the upcoming presidential elections, Joe Biden, the current president, has yet to win the majority of voters’ opinion on many important economic, political and social issues.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, a new CNN poll shows that Joe Biden, the president of the United States, is still behind Donald Trump, the former president of the country and the current Republican candidate. In this poll, the support of voters for Trump against Biden was stable compared to the last CNN national poll in January (49 percent), while Biden won 43 percent of the vote, a decrease of two percentage points compared to the last national poll (45 percentage) does not have a good position compared to its competitor.

CNN wrote: 61% of Americans consider Biden’s presidency to be a failure. Overall, 92 percent of Republicans View Trump’s presidency as a success, compared to only 73 percent of Democrats who view Biden as such. 14% of Americans consider both their current and former presidents to be failures. About half of registered voters, 47 percent, consider Biden’s presidency a failure so far.

This report added: There have been negative views of Biden’s performance as president during most of his presidency. In a new poll, 60% of Americans do not approve of his management. Even Biden’s strongest ratings in the poll are in the negative range (below 50 percent), with only 45 percent approving of his handling of health care and 44 percent of how he’s handling student loan debt.

The remarkable thing in this poll is that Biden’s worst rating from American voters was for his handling of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, where only 28% of Americans approved of him. 81% of people under the age of 35 and 53% of Democrats are not satisfied with the way Biden managed and acted in the Gaza war.

According to the CNN poll, Biden’s approval rating is solidly negative on important economic issues (34 percent) and inflation (29 percent), while voters say economic concerns are more important to their choice than in either of the past two presidential races. In a new poll, 65 percent of registered voters consider the state of the economy very important to their vote for the candidate of their choice. While in the previous two periods (2016) 46% and in early 2020 only 40% of voters felt this way.

In part of this report, it is stated: a large majority of Americans (70 percent) say that the economic conditions in their country are weak. Many of them, especially Republicans, believe that their views are more affected by a political shift than by a change in the economy itself.

About four in 10 people in this group (41%) say that a change in political leadership in Washington would do more to change their perception of the economy than a drop in the inflation rate, a change in their personal finances or a sustained increase in the economy. Americans’ perception of their finances is also negative, with 53% dissatisfied with their personal financial situation. Dissatisfaction is higher among people with lower incomes, people of color and younger Americans.

In the end, this report wrote: In this period of the American presidential elections, people’s views towards both Democratic and Republican candidates are mostly negative. In such a way that 58% of voters have an unfavorable view of Biden and 55%. Also, a limited majority of voters (53%) say they are dissatisfied with the candidates they have to choose from in this year’s presidential race.
