CNN: Rafah crossing will not be opened today.
The American network “CNN” reported, citing several sources, that the opening of the Rafah crossing today Friday is also unlikely for the first aid convoy to enter Gaza.

The American network “CNN” quoted sources as saying that due to the obstacles in the negotiations between the Zionist regime, Egypt, and the United States, it is unlikely to open the Rafah crossing to deliver the first aid convoy to Gaza.

According to the report of “Al-Mayadeen” network website, a source familiar with the discussions about this case between the occupiers, Egypt and the United States told this network: “I cannot comment on the passage of trucks that are supposed to pass through Rafah on Friday; The situation is unstable.

US officials have said the situation is still volatile, explaining that in addition to concerns about ensuring the delivery of aid, there is also the need to repair the road on the Egyptian side of the crossing.

Egyptian media reported yesterday that the Rafah crossing will be opened on Friday for aid to enter the Gaza Strip. Al-Mayadeen’s reporter said: The cement barriers have been removed and the crossing gate has been opened from the Egyptian side.

Yesterday morning, Thursday, Cairo announced that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and US President Joe Biden agreed in a phone call to “sustainably deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.”
