CNN: The ground invasion of Gaza will continue until January 2024.
Senior American officials told CNN that the White House is worried about how the Israeli ground operations in the Gaza Strip will progress in the coming weeks.
CNN reported on Wednesday morning, quoting American officials, that Washington expects the current stage of the Israeli ground invasion of the Gaza Strip to continue until January 2024.
An intelligence source also told the network: “US assessments show that Israel cannot sustain its current intensive level of operations for an indefinite period.”
CNN further claimed, quoting informed sources: “If it were not for the warnings of the United States, Israel would have razed the entire Gaza Strip to the ground.”
Citing other senior officials of the US government, whose names were not revealed, this network reported that the White House is worried about how the Israeli ground operations in the Gaza Strip will progress in the coming weeks and has warned Tel Aviv about civilian casualties.
Another source told CNN that the US government believes that the Zionist regime will not be able to achieve its goal of preventing Hamas from repeating an operation similar to the Al-Aqsa storm by the end of this year and that Tel Aviv will continue to strive for this goal in the long term.
Previously, American officials told the “Axios” news website that Washington wants to prevent a governance and security vacuum in Gaza after the war to prevent the re-emergence of Hamas.
