CNN: The Israeli army has promoted soldiers who violate human rights

PNN – In an investigative report, CNN revealed that the Zionist regime promoted the former commanders of a battalion that violated human rights.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the website of the CNN television network reported today that the former commanders of a military unit of the Zionist regime accused of gross human rights violations have been promoted and are engaged in training the occupying forces and carrying out military operations in Gaza.

The “Netzah Yehuda” battalion was originally created to recruit extremist Zionists into the army, and Washington has accused it of gross human rights violations against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank before the October 7 operation by Hamas. This battalion is accused of repeatedly violating human rights in the West Bank in the last 10 years, including the murder of a 78-year-old Palestinian-American man in 2022.

Research by this news network close to the Democrats shows that the former commanders of this battalion have now been promoted to senior positions in the Israeli army and are active in training the regime’s ground forces and conducting operations in Gaza.

During its month-long investigation, CNN interviewed several current and former American officials. They said that the promotion of these people was a worrying result of US inaction and could have devastating consequences.

According to CNN, the Israeli army created the Netzah Yehuda battalion in 1999 to recruit extremist Jews to be compatible with their extremisms such as the belief in the separation of men and women. According to knowledgeable sources, this battalion, which is considered a sub-set of the Kfir brigade – the largest infantry brigade of the Israeli army – has also attracted religious nationalists from the West Bank settlers since its establishment.

Bernie Sanders, an independent senator from the state of Vermont, USA, in a statement last night, reminded us that we should not forget the Palestinians in Gaza and stressed: We are partners in Israel’s crimes in Gaza.

The senator’s statement said: While most of the media is focused on the US presidential election, we should not ignore what is happening in Gaza, where an unprecedented humanitarian crisis is worsening day by day.

In this statement, Sanders mentioned that since the beginning of the Zionist attack on the Gaza Strip, more than 38,000 people have been killed and more than 80,000 others have been injured: Since the beginning of the conflict, 9 out of 10 Palestinians in Gaza have been displaced from their homes, and many of them have even had to change places four or five times.
