CNN: The tone of Washington towards Israel has changed

PNN – CNN news channel considered the attention of the head of the US diplomatic service to the human casualties of the Zionist regime’s aggression in Gaza as indicating a change in Washington’s tone towards Tel Aviv.

According to Pakistan News Network, the CNN website wrote that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s expression of regret for the civilian casualties in Gaza during his visit to India yesterday was a subtle but significant change in America’s tone towards Israel.

According to CNN, The Biden administration has been strongly supporting Tel Aviv’s military attack on Gaza for weeks, but the increasing number of victims, the massive protests of Palestinian supporters around the world and the growing discontent inside the White House have caused the American position to come under severe pressure.

Blinken said in New Delhi: Many Palestinians have been killed. Many have been injured in recent weeks. We want to do everything possible to prevent them from harm and maximize the help they can get.

Blinken added: For this purpose, we will continue to talk with Israel about the specific steps that should be taken to advance these goals.

Government officials argue that they have achieved some successes in reducing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The White House announced on Thursday that Israel has agreed to halt military operations in northern Gaza for four hours a day.

Previously, the CNN website quoted informed sources in the Biden administration and wrote that While the Israeli forces have shown no signs of stopping their relentless attacks in Gaza and the number of civilian casualties in the region continues to rise, concern, frustration and anger among American officials is increasing.

CNN quoted the private statements of some senior American officials and wrote: It is simply impossible to defend some aspects of Israel’s military operations. Calls for support for a cease-fire are increasing among civil servants, and images of Palestinian civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes have upset them.

CNN quoted a senior government official as saying: “There is a lot of moral anxiety.” But no one can say that because we are all working to please the president and he fully supports (Israel).
