These sources stated that American forces attempted to intercept Iranian missiles fired during Operation Sadeq Promise 3 with 100 or 150 THAAD missiles, which is a large part of their stockpile.

CNN, citing former US officials and military experts, stated that the rapid reduction in the THAAD missile stockpile has raised security concerns for Washington.

The Pentagon spokesman, however, dismissed these reports and claimed that the US military is at its strongest and has what it needs to carry out any mission in the world.
