PNN – The Foreign Minister of Colombia said in an interview with Al Jazeera news channel that his country has severed relations with the Zionist regime because this regime did not respect international humanitarian laws and violated them.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network report from Al Jazeera, Luis Gilberto Morio added in an interview with this Qatari channel: President Gustavo Petro (Colombia) issued an order to sever our relations with Israel (regime) due to non-compliance with international humanitarian laws.
He said: Gaza is on the verge of genocide and what Israel is doing is against international laws.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia added: We demand compliance with the UN resolutions and the implementation of the decision of the International Criminal Court.

In the past months, the President of Colombia strongly criticized the Zionist regime’s genocide in the Gaza Strip and asked the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Petro also stated that “If Palestine dies, humanity dies too”, and ended relations with the Zionist regime, which has been one of Bogota’s biggest partners in terms of security and business.
In response to Netanyahu’s statements accusing him of anti-Semitism, Petro said that he is not anti-Semitic, but he is against the barbarism, genocide and inhumane action of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime against Gaza.
The president of Colombia emphasized: Jews should not be the architects of a genocide because they themselves suffered from it, just as the genocide of Jews in Nazi Europe is unacceptable, the current genocide against the Palestinian people is also unacceptable.
He added: dropping bombs on thousands of innocent children, women and elderly people does not make you a hero.
