PNN – Two French media organizations in Paris have filed a complaint against the Israeli regime, accusing it of “obstructing freedom of media activity” during the genocidal war in Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Quds Al-Arabi, the International Union of Journalists and the National Union of French Journalists announced: Israel’s actions against French journalists could constitute a “war crime” and the Paris anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office has jurisdiction to investigate it.
The lawyers in this case emphasized: Israel deliberately, and sometimes violently, prevents French journalists from working in the Palestinian territories and endangers their safety in the West Bank; an action that is a clear violation of international law and an example of a war crime.

At the same time, another French journalist reported being directly attacked by Israeli settlers while covering events in the occupied territories.
According to the Reporters without Borders Center, more than 210 journalists have been martyred at the hands of the occupying forces since the beginning of the Israeli regime’s attacks on Gaza on October 7, 2023.
Israel has also prevented foreign journalists from entering Gaza independently, allowing only a limited number to enter under the control of its military.
France has previously witnessed the filing of several lawsuits related to the Gaza war, including against French-Israeli soldiers who are members of the Israeli army’s elite units, the Eurolinks arms company, and some French-Israeli settlers on charges of participating in the crimes of the occupation.
The Paris anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office has even opened an investigation into the killing of two French children in the Israeli regime’s bombing of Gaza.
