Continuation of anti-Israeli demonstrations in various British cities

PNN – Thousands of supporters of Palestine demonstrated in various British cities on Saturday in protest against the barbaric crimes committed by the Zionist regime.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, participants in these protest movements from east to west and north to south of England came to the streets for the 23rd week in a row to express solidarity with the oppressed and defenseless people of Palestine while condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.

The present people of different nationalities and religions, while carrying the Palestinian flag, chanted slogans about justice, the end of the apartheid system, the immediate cessation of the war and the immediate establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza and shouted: “Stop the occupation” and “Free Palestine”.

Despite the restrictions and pressures of the London government, they emphasized that they will continue their protests as long as the killing of the Palestinian people continues.

Supporters of Palestine have been protesting every week in the corner of England since the new round of genocide of Palestinians in Gaza started about 6 months ago and showing their opposition to the barbaric crimes of the Zionist regime. The protesters emphasize that, contrary to the London government’s support for Tel Aviv, they want an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the liberation of the occupied Palestinian territories.

As one of the main supporters of the Zionist regime, the British government opposes the establishment of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, ignoring the killing of the oppressed and innocent Palestinian people, and believes that such an action will make the Palestinian resistance bolder.

However, the continuation of protests and the pressure of public opinion in England has caused this country to review its position in recent weeks and to criticize the bans that the Zionist regime has imposed on the transfer of relief aid to Gaza.

The Daily Telegraph newspaper reported yesterday that British Foreign Minister David Cameron has warned the Israeli regime that if it does not allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza and does not comply with international laws, the arms cooperation with this regime will be stopped.

Cameron also wrote in a letter to Elisha Cairns, the head of the British Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, about the Gaza war: It is a source of great disappointment that British aid to the region is awaiting Israeli approval. For example, I am aware of some British aid that has remained at the border for the past three weeks, awaiting Israeli approval. Criticizing the current situation, he accused Tel Aviv of acting arbitrarily in this regard.

Having said that, the Zionist regime has closed all crossings in the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area. According to reports, more than 32,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 72,000 others have been injured.
