PNN – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement calling for an international movement to support Gaza and condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime on International Labor Day.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestinian Information Center, In this statement, Hamas called on various segments of the Arab and Islamic nations and the free people of the world to demonstrate their support and solidarity with the Gaza Strip and their opposition to the Zionist regime’s relentless aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people, through widespread marches and demonstrations of anger in all cities, squares, and capitals of the world, and to continue their global popular movement.

Hamas also called on labor unions and syndicates in all countries of the world to turn International Workers’ Day into a global day of effective action, during which widespread protests are held against the war and crimes of the Zionist regime, all forms of sanctions against the Zionist regime are increased, and by applying pressure, the ground is prepared for a halt and end to the aggressions and siege against the Gaza Strip.
On October 7, 2023, the Israeli regime launched a war against the Gaza Strip with two main goals: to destroy the Hamas movement and to return the Zionist prisoners from the region, but it failed to achieve these goals and was forced to reach an agreement with the Hamas movement to exchange prisoners.
On January 19, 2025, based on an agreement between Hamas and the Israeli regime, a ceasefire was established in the Gaza Strip, and a number of prisoners were exchanged. However, the Israeli regime subsequently refused to enter into the second phase of the ceasefire negotiations and, in violation of the ceasefire provisions, resumed its military aggression against the Gaza Strip. In return, the resistance fighters responded to these aggressions with numerous operations.
