According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, the UN General Assembly hall has witnessed repeated microphone interruptions during speeches by world leaders about Palestine in recent days.

This issue has become controversial in cyberspace and among users because the microphone failure occurred at the same time as several world leaders were speaking about Gaza and recognizing the state of Palestine.

For example, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s microphone was cut off while he was speaking about the humanitarian situation in Gaza and his call for the recognition of the state of Palestine. The Indonesian president also faced having his microphone cut off while speaking about his country’s intention to send peacekeeping forces to Gaza.

The Canadian Prime Minister’s voice was also cut off when he was talking about recognizing the state of Palestine.

UN officials have claimed that these incidents occurred due to technical problems.
