Countries and important political figures around the world welcome the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

According to Al Jazeera, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement in response to the ceasefire announcement in Gaza: “We welcome the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and appreciate the efforts that Qatar, Egypt and the United States have made in this regard.”

The ministry added: “We hope that this agreement will completely end Israel’s brutal war.”

UAE

The United Arab Emirates also reacted to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza in a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stating: “The government of Abu Dhabi supports the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.”

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: “We appreciate the efforts that Qatar, Egypt and the United States have made in this regard.”

Jordan

Jordan’s official news agency Petra also announced in a news release: “The country supports and welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.”

Egypt

The Egyptian presidency also announced in a statement: “We emphasize, together with Qatar and the United States, that all stages of the agreement will be fully implemented by both parties [Hamas and Israel].

In this regard, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said after announcing the ceasefire in Gaza: “I welcome the achievement of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which was reached after strenuous efforts mediated by Egypt, Qatar and the United States.”

England

The British Foreign Office’s Minister of State for the Middle East also said in this regard: “I appreciate Egypt, Qatar, and the United States for their vital efforts in supporting the Gaza agreement.”

Belgium

In response to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, the Belgian Foreign Minister said: “The ceasefire agreement is a glimmer of hope that Gaza has been waiting for for a long time, and we call on all parties to respect it.”

He said: “We will continue to support efforts to achieve a two-state solution.”
