Pak Sahafat – In a move that shows the desperation of the British government against the widespread wave of public support for the Al-Aqsa storm operation, the British interior minister emphasized in a letter to the police chiefs that any waving of the Palestinian flag under the pretense of supporting the operations of the resistance forces is considered a crime.
According to Pakistan News Network’s Tuesday night report, in this letter, excerpts of which were published in the British media, Suela Bravarman ordered the officials of the security agencies to be alert to the display of flags, signs or any works that symbolize the support of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas. It should be mentioned that the British government included Hamas in the list of terrorist organizations in 2021.
In this letter, the British Interior Minister asked the country’s security apparatus to consider the reason for displaying the Palestinian flag and claimed: behaviors that seem legitimate, for example waving the Palestinian flag, may not be legitimate in some circumstances; like when this act is a praise of Hamas terrorist operations.
In this connection, he described the famous slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” as a symbol of violence and expressing the desire to remove the Zionist regime from the world map.
Bravarman raised this matter while the increase in the movements of anti-Zionist groups in the UK has alarmed the country’s authorities in recent days.

Last night, hundreds of Palestinian supporters held a protest rally in front of the Zionist embassy in London and while declaring solidarity with the Palestinian people, they demanded an end to the occupation in this area. The participants in this protest movement showed their support for the operations of the resistance forces by waving the Palestinian flag and shouting for the freedom of Palestine.
According to the announced plan, Palestinian supporters are going to protest in the center of London on Saturday.
A few hours ago, British Foreign Minister James Cleverly claimed that holding anti-Zionist demonstrations has worried the Jewish community living in England and claimed: There is no need for demonstrations; this causes distress (to the Jews).
In an interview with the Sky news channel, he described the situation in the region as sensitive and difficult and added: I ask (Palestinian fans) to be silent.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak also warned today in his speech that security agencies will deal with Hamas supporters.
He stated: “People should not support Hamas and we will ensure that whoever supports this group will be held accountable.”
